As a Loss Mitigation Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting loan servicing operations related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, and claims processing.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment. Your work will directly support internal teams and help ensure accurate, compliant handling of high-risk loan accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Support loss mitigation processing:Assist with administrative activities related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, and delinquent loan accounts.
  • Maintain documentation and records:Track, update, and organize files and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assistwith claims and valuations:Order appraisals and track property valuationsin accordance withtimelines.
  • Ensure compliance:Maintaindocumentation and processes aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Support disputes and servicing activity:Assist with loan-related disputes, insurance tracking, and account updates.
  • Provide administrative support:Assist with reporting, data tracking, andgeneral supportfor Loss Mitigation, Collections, and Servicing teams.
  • Coordinate across teams:Work with internal departments to supporttimelyprocessing and resolution of loan activities.
  • Support special processes:Assist with other servicing-related administrative functions.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Experience in mortgage servicing, collections, real estate, or loan operations preferred 
  • Basic understanding of bankruptcy, foreclosure, or loss mitigation processes preferred 
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
  • Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
